What is SIR?

SIR means Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls. It is not just a normal voter-list update. It is a detailed verification process where the Election Commission updates, verifies, corrects, and cleans the voter list.

During SIR, Booth Level Officers, also known as BLOs, visit houses, distribute enumeration forms, verify voter details, and collect completed forms. Voters may also get an option to submit the enumeration form online through the official voter portal.

How to Submit the SIR Enumeration Form Offline Through BLO

1. Wait for the BLO visit.
   The Booth Level Officer will visit households in the polling area and distribute the enumeration form.
2. Check pre-filled details.
   Verify your name, EPIC number, address, polling station, age, relationship details, and other voter-list information.
3. Correct mistakes carefully.
   If any information is wrong, ask the BLO or voter facilitation centre about the correct form or correction process.
4. Sign and submit.
   Complete the form, sign it, and submit it as instructed by the BLO.
5. Keep your copy or acknowledgement.
   Keep proof of submission safely until the final electoral roll is published.

How to Fill Karnataka SIR Enumeration Form Online

Online submission is useful, but it may work only when your mobile number is linked with your EPIC and your details match properly for e-sign verification. If the online option does not work, do not panic. Submit the form through your BLO.

1. Visit the official voter service portal.
   Go to https://voters.eci.gov.in/.
2. Select “Fill Enumeration Form”.
   On the portal, choose the SIR enumeration form option.
3. Select State as Karnataka.
   Choose Karnataka from the state list.
4. Enter your EPIC number.
   Enter your voter ID / EPIC number and click search.
5. Verify pre-filled details.
   Check whether your name, polling part, address, and other details are displayed correctly.
6. Complete OTP verification.
   Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
7. Choose the correct SIR category.
   Select whether your name existed in the last SIR roll, your parent/grandparent’s name existed, or neither record is available.
8. Fill previous SIR or relative details if required.
   Enter the required details carefully. Wrong information may create complications later.
9. Preview the form.
   Review every field before final submission.
10. Complete Aadhaar e-sign and declaration.
    Submit only after reading the declaration properly.

Who Should Be Extra Careful?

• People who shifted residence recently
• Newly married voters whose address changed
• First-time voters who completed 18 years
• People whose name, age, gender, address, or relation details are wrong
• Voters living outside Karnataka but still registered at their old address
• Families where old 2002 voter-list details may not match current details

   ಹೆಸರು, EPIC ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ, ವಿಳಾಸ, polling station, ವಯಸ್ಸು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಬಂಧಿಕರ ವಿವರ ಸರಿಯಿದೆಯೇ ನೋಡಿ.
3. ತಪ್ಪು ಇದ್ದರೆ ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ ಕೇಳಿ.

   https://voters.eci.gov.in/ ಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ.

   ಹಳೆಯ ಮತದಾರರ ಪಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ಜಾಗ್ರತೆಯಿಂದ ಹಾಕಿ.
9. Preview ನೋಡಿ.
